Obituary

Lois Edith Lutz passed away peacefully surrounded by her children at Parkland Place on February 17, 2019 at 3:36 a.m.
She was born in Tisdale, SK, the first daughter of Gerhard Frederick on March 2, 1929. She grew up in Orley, SK along with her sister, and life long friend, Eunice and her brother Jerry. Lois married her husband George Lutz in October of 1944. Together they raised five children on their family farm in Mistatim, SK until they made Melfort, SK their home.
Lois used her God given talents to serve her family, friends and community. She spent 25 years as a loving care aide at Parkland Place. Lois created a home that was centered around a table where all were welcome and warmly fed in both body and spirit. Above all else Lois loved her Lord and Savior and her greatest desire was to share that love with those around her.
On February 17, 2019, Lois went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and was reunited with her loving parents, husband George, brother Jerry, son Wayne and grandson Jeffrey.
Lois is survived by children: Daughter-in-law Lucy, Bryan (Janet), Danny, Brent (Tammy), Lynda (Carmen). Grandchildren: Heidi (Chauncey), Richard (Dawn), Blaine (Kyla), Tammy (Lorenzo), Jordan, Kelsey, Dawson, Mitch, Meghan (Mike), Scott. Great Grandchildren: Liam, Jaiden, Madyson, Kennedy, Kellen & Bradlee.

My condolences to all of the Lutz family. I have never forgotten the many times we shared at Wascana Camp, at the Melfort church and on so many other occasions when our paths crossed over the years. Lois spoke into my life when I needed to hear God's voice. I thank God for her. She has gone home to her reward; she is safe and at rest in the arms of Jesus. I pray God's comfort for all of the family.

It is with great sadness and great joy I reflect on the life and passing of my aunt Lois. She had the kindest heart, always there to listen and lend a supporting word.
She had a connection to the young. As a teenager you could always go to her with your problems no matter how small. She taught me to bake, making butter buns, bread and pie pastry. I always think of her as I roll out my dough for pies or tarts. Her kitchen always had the aroma of fresh baked bread..
She is not gone but lives on with us in our memories and every pie that I make. She will be rewarded in heaven for all the good she did while living here on earth.
Rest In Peace dear aunt. Lois.
