Rhonda Tyacke was born on June 21, 1973 to Dale and Joyce (Letandre) Kuhling in Melfort, Sask, where she attended both elementary and high school. When she was in high school, Rhonda met her soon to be husband Duane. At age seventeen, Rhonda was deeply saddened by the sudden passing of her mother. This led her to move to Star City with Duane while she was finishing high school in Melfort. Always an ambitious and hard worker, Rhonda balanced many jobs over the years. At age fifteen, she began her first job at Smitty’s with her mother. From there she worked at Petro Canada, Town and Country Esso, Campbell’s Auctions, and The Department of Highways. On July 5, 1997 Duane and Rhonda were married in Star City. They were then blessed with two beautiful baby girls, Taylor in 1998 and Kaylee in 1999. The family of four picked up and moved to Melfort in 2004, where Rhonda started as a child care provider in her home. She loved the kids like her own. In 2012, Rhonda was faced with the challenges of cancer, and reluctantly had to give up what she loved. She was a very strong and stubborn woman who spoke her mind.
After her diagnosis, Rhonda’s time was spent travelling to Saskatoon, followed by days of recovery and rest. She spent her recreational time camping with family, visiting with friends, and watching her daughters dance and play sports.
Rhonda sadly leaves behind her husband, Duane; her daughters, Taylor and Kaylee; sister, Lori (Rob); mother-in-law, Fay Tyacke; sister-in-law, Dena (Gordon); brother-in-law, Dwight (Trinity); brother-in-law, Dallas; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
She was predeceased by her mother and father Joyce and Dale Kuhling.
