Donna was born in Saskatoon to Bill and Alma (Ore) Mudd on May 19, 1954. She retired from SaskPower the moment she was gifted with her son Michael. Quite a few years were spent out at Emma Lake camping which she enjoyed and talked about often. Michael was her life...she enjoyed and thoroughly loved every moment spent with him. Donna’s other career paths led her to office manager of the Sierras of Erindale in Saskatoon, telemarketing and on-line marketing. Donna loved flowers and couldn’t put one down without picking up another. She loved to decorate...Christmas being her favorite as this was the memorable times that Michael and her would celebrate the festivities at her brother’s home with her Dad, Mom and family. Donna had a gift of design and interior decorating...a career path she dreamed of and often talked about pursuing. In August 2017 Donna was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Unfortunately a cure that we all prayed in vain to surface did not happen. Donna moved to St. Brieux March 2018 where she spent many comforting days with her sister and family. She looked forward for the snow to melt so she could see her grass and put her many ornaments out on her patio. Soon to follow were the birdfeeders and the flowers...lots and lots of flowers! We will miss you dearly Donna... Love from your family.
Donna will be lovingly remembered and cherished by her son Michael Gilchrist (Briana Oakley) her mother Alma, her brothers Murray Mudd (Donna) Ken Mudd (Norma) Lyle Mudd (Gail) and sister Valerie Guillet (Alain). She will also be missed by her numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly, cousins, aunts and uncles and their families. Donna was predeceased by her father William Bill Mudd May 17, 2008.
