Obituary for Andrew Ralph "Andy" Everton
Andrew (Andy) Everton, 71, of Melfort, SK passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Melfort Hospital. He was born to Arthur and Genevieve Everton on August 26, 1946 in St. Boniface, MB.
Andy was the middle child of 8 who spent his summers growing up at the lake. After graduating high school he received his pilot license through the Canadian Armed Forces. He then went on to receive his electrician papers while working for CN Rail. Andy loved to talk about planes and trains. Later in life, Andy became a hotel and bar owner which lasted over 20 years and took him to many different locations. Andy had a passion for reading, driving down dirt roads and sitting in the sun listening to the birds.
Andy was predeceased by his parents, his wife Carol and brothers Ferdie and Mark. He is survived by his children A.J. (Sue) Everton of Fort. St. John, BC, Christine (Andrew) Cahoon of Dawson City, YK, Lisa Everton of Winnipeg, MB, Tracy (Brent) Rolland of Melfort, SK, Tara (Archie) Coates of Prince Albert, SK; his siblings Alice Regey, Joe (Dorothy) Everton, Sue Everton, Jim (Sue) Everton, Lisa (Ron) White; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren that brought so much happiness and joy into his life.
